Till now we have covered 2 travel search engines of WATBlog. They have been iXiGo.com which also got shortlisted in the Red Herring Global 100 Finalists and Zoomtra which is promoted by Smile Studio which also own Quasar and Tyroo.
I just came across another travel related aggregator but this one isnt a search engine infact its something even better its a flight comparison engine! Now you might say whats so great in that! See this has been my experience with searching flights when i serach i look for specific time slots and not necessarily the cheapest flight! So for example i recently flew in to hyderabad for the TIE-ISB Conference and i was looking for a 14th morning flight i wouldnt buy a 14 afternoon even if it was for free!
The travel comparison engine is IndoFlights.com and what it does is displays rates from across airlines and even OTA’s (Online travel agents like yatra, makemytrip etc) and arranges them according to departure and arrival times incase of a round trip!

But as they say you cant get everything though the format of display is good the links to the travel agents like arzoo, travelguru etc goes to their home page i.e. i would again need to search those site to book the tickets. But atleast indoflights does the job of comparison! One can also email oneself the itenary to refer later. I think Indoflights needs to work on tie ups with these travel players and also needs to revamp the design of its site as its a little old school but on the whole this product does show promise in doing something different than the two existing travel aggregators.

Dont know about “promising”, but I guess the similarity in site design/branding to mobissimo’s is purely coincidental ?
