Everybody is clicking. Clicking what ? Well, it doesn’t really matter. When you have a 1.3 mega pixel camera in your mobile phone, everything from the girls in a passing by local train to a larger-than-life blowup of Kareena Kapoor to a road-side accident becomes a subject. Most of the pix are waste, but nevertheless, they are pictures. And pictures need to be edited. So before you jump to fire your latest, pirated edition of Photoshop, that makes your 1-GB-Ram desktop go week in the knees, have a look at FlauntR.com. It aims at being an online image-editing service. So, just upload your images to flauntR and play with all the dazzling effects on the site. Remove red-eye, add sepia affect, cut, crop and everything that you may need.
SO, the first impression was “Ahemmm….OK, I am listening, so what’s next?” The home page is clean and looks elegant. Though they can add a bit of details on the front page, the neatness is a welcome. On clicking on “PhotostylR”, a beautiful flash-based interface comes up.

This page is done very aesthetically. On the centre-right, there is the picture that you want to add effects to. Below is a queue of pictures. And on the right-hand side are the effects that can be added to the pic. Click on an effect and see the preview immediately. Again, done very beautifully. On the top is a row of buttons like”Images” , “Download”, “My Album”, etc. Among these, there was a button with the logo of Flickr. I clicked on it, ad the application, after asking for my permission, imported all my photos from my Flickr account into FlauntR. Superb ! I can now edit my Flickr photos in FlauntR. And Flickr is supporting FlauntR, coz it asked that do I want to allow FlauntR access to my Flickr account. Pretty good !
