CoolHotmail.com which we have covered here has been pretty aggressive with its marketing and have been all over Tv as well.

Now Coolhotmail has also launched a viral for attracting more user signups to its unique domain ids. This time the viral shows two bikers who are competing against each other and are very aggressive and suddenly one of the bikers stops and lets a group of chicks (hens little one and not girls :P) pass by.

I got the link to this viral from an ex WATConsultant and then als stumbled upon an interview by the guys who made the viral on agencyfaqs. CEO of Media2win the agency behind the viral says “We found the ‘hitwiththechicks.com’ domain name most interesting. Though the video is energetic, we wanted the brand communication to be subtle.”

Overall the viral does have a suprise value as till the end one doesn’t know what the viral is about. Also the biker saving the chicks is quite a contrast which does make you smile. Overall the viral in terms of graphics is well executed though im not sure for an email company the unique domain strategy is the right one as people may just register and not use such domains.

One can view the viral here ..

well Rajiv wanna ask u y do u think that for an email company the unique domain advertising is not the rite one…..according to me whats the reason behind y people wont register…they will register dude….and further these hotmail guys are not bullshits…they would have thought something which u and I dont even know off….still very well done dude……
it would have been nice enough if u would have provided the link to that ad…..
