BigFM 92.7 launches Online Podcasts of its Radio Shows!

Big 92.7 FM a part of the Reliance ADAG which is known for its afinity for going Digital (think zapak, bigadda and bigflicks). Even earlier Rajesh Sawney head of reliance entertainment had been open about his plans to take BigFM digital.
So BigFm has gone ahead and launched online podcasts for its radio shows in Bangalore! Important parts of every radio show on Big Fm bangalore would now be available online in the form of a podcast for its global listeners within 1-2 hours of the actual show. BigFM soon plans to launch this podcast service for all the radio shows across all the cities its present in and is currently testing this service for other cities. So soon one can listen to the radio shows online and that also globally!
This is very interesting move by a radio company that seems to be embracing the online media wholeheartedly and seems to be leveraging what it brings in as a global medium. Big FM has done their homework well and have even added features like an Podcast and Itunes feed keeping in mind an international audience. Im sure there will be many NRI’s who would take to this service.

I have been following Watblog for a long time and have known it to be one of the best blogs with a reader friendly language.
When i read this article about POD CASTS !! I was reminded of a site called http://www.indiakahero.com - it has come out with some new contests - AUDIO And VIDEO based !!
It has a contest called Whacky videos that allows its participants to upload absolutely anything that is not so common and in the bargain win prizes based on the votes that are gathered.
I thought i would let you know so that you can let your readers know about it… see if you can write an article about it.
