Yup we had blogged the teaser earlier and here it is WATBlog.com has launched its very own Online Video Show on Web, Advertising and Technology i.e. WATShow.com!

watshow.com

Now here is what you should expect:

  • A 5-10 minute show so should take about 5 minutes to load completely on a decent connection.
  • A WHACKY Show so humour needs to be taken humourously. For those looking for a official disclaimer check our disclaimer page! :P
  • A Weekly Show! Yes we hate daily soaps just like you do! So we will be here once a week mostly in the early part of the week! (Unless our weekend boozing lands us somewhere else ;) )
  • A show that will feature interviews from industry people, startups, sneak peeks and even exotic locations like the Arabia Deserts!

Here is our very first show exclusively for our WATBlog readers! Do take time out and visit WATShow as well.

  1. hey, good idea, not so well executed. sounded like he was trying to talk to hearing impaired, or was reminescent of what vajpayee could have been in his twenties. i think you guys can do a lot better than this. for a show to be whacky, news has to be whacky and presentation razor sharp. news from blog, presented draggily will not help

  2. Hi Rakesh.. Thanks for your feedback. We agree we may have screwed up places in terms of execution but hey im happy that you atleast liked the idea.. We shall try to do better with each show and your feedback would be most welcome for all of them. Thanks so much for giving your feedback do keep reding WATBlog and also watch out for an improved WATShow! :)

  3. Hey Rajiv & Co.

I think its a handy extension - a proliferation of the WAT services.

Even though im a fan of my (very entertaining) friend Aamer and i have great respect for your ideas - without sounding too much like a party pooper i hope to offer some constructive criticism.

    1. I loved the opening of the show because the camera offered some nice variations - that tapered off as the show wore on - so i would suggest the guys who are executing the show - try and make the camera work more varied and exciting but make sure that it dosent become jarring. The host presented in just one avtar can become extremely monotonous. Make the camera also TALK is what im trying to say.

    2. I think its plain boring to present (almost) the same news that on your blog as a narration on the show - in the beginning, the people who view your blog ARE going to view your show as well (and initially they may be the ONLY viewers of your show) and if you are offering them the same thing in a similar narrative fashion without anything extra its going to be a turn off - your own philosophy is that of adding something extra - so utilize it!

    3. A positive - some snappy editing - way to go Dagli!

    4. I know that the show is supposed to be Whacky - but this is just looking to the future - i think u guys should look towards building a sequence and a structure to the show

    5. I have a gut feel that more people on the show will bring more madness and more of the WAT factor to the show.

all in all i enjoyed the show but i just wish it gave me more.

Im looking forward to more though!
