Google AdSense Goes The Video Way For Text-Ads Revenue Generation Through YouTube Videos

It’s time for some good news for all Google AdSense publishers, especially the ones who embed YouTube videos on their websites and blogs. Google has taken a step further to add more revenue to its revenue stream by making efforts to distribute more content & more ads across the internet. Google has tied with up with some 100 media companies who create YouTube video content to flash Google AdSense text-ads alongside the video units. At the moment, the scope to generate revenue and traffic is limited as Google has tied up with only 100 media companies and not more than that.
There will be a number of benefits attached with this development for all adsense publishers. This will enable most YouTube video content creators to get connected to an audience that would be beyond YouTube’s network and distribution channel through the AdSense publisher network. These videos will be surrounded by AdSense ads and would certainly enable publishers to earn more because of the level of traffic that YouTube videos attract. Websites will become more visual and therefore compelling for both, website owners and the audience. However, website owners would not have the same level of control over what type of clips get embedded within their websites or blogs.
On the other side, there are many advertising networks like Google’s AdSense network but none of them are able to reach the chunk of audience that Google has been able to do so. This will be a boon for YouTube video creators to spread their video content faster because of the hugely popular AdSense network.
Moreover, it will enable a lot of advertisers to reach their customers quickly. Thus, this has turned into a win-win situation for Google, its advertisers, its publishers, website owners and YouTube video creators.
Google has said that it would be sharing revenue that arises from the ads with YouTube video creators and its website publishers. However, it has declined to comment on the percentage of the revenue that will be allocated to any of the parties involved.
Here is a practical example and a video of how it works:
For instance, if your blog or website is about travel, then you might want to embed videos that relate to travel on your website or blog. the ads will flash as per the content of your website or blog.
