YelloJobs.com breaks up with NDTVJobs.com and goes solo in online jobs market

It was a year back when YelloJobs.com Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Andreas Koestler was quoted about their fresh association with NDTVJobs.com as saying:

“NDTV is the ideal partner for our new job site – and so are NDTV’s viewers. Yellojobs is about forward thinking educated individuals, who are ‘ahead of the curve’, exactly NDTV’s audience.”

Recently, YelloJobs.com announced that it would serve its customers directly and has broken up its alliance with NDTVJobs.com. Its CEO Mr. Andreas Koestler said "Yellojobs.com has revolutionized the world-wide job market by introducing our patented ‘Referral Recruitment’ model. We have achieved tremendous success in India and will continue to focus on the Indian market. We have recently launched in Thailand and are extending our services to many more countries around the world."

The announcement of being an independent player by YelloJobs.com comes due to the fact that the market is ever increasing each year. The opportunity seems to be ‘growing’ due to the ever-increasing number of potential graduates that look out for high quality jobs in various sectors of the Indian market. Moreover, the FII’s are flowing in from various parts of the world and this is giving a rise to the Indian economy thus boosting more trade and commerce. Therefore, the number of jobs available seems to be growing at an alarming rate. Naturally, the decision very well comprehends the Indian job market situation even though the job market has a lot of big players like monster.com, naukri.com, timesjobs.com, jobsahead.com, jobstreet.com and many others.

The question is,

How will NDTVJobs.com function from now onwards? What will happen to the websites expansion plans?

Will they operate as an individual entity or shut down their operations?

Currently, NDTVJobs.com’s website is showing as ‘powered by YelloJobs.com’.

  1. Right decisions taken at tright time are always fruitful in future. this decision of yellojobs is correct and results will be positive.

    Best of Luck!!!!!!!! :|

  2. Hi! I read your blog and quite agree to your conclusions. A few pointers below would clarify some questions posed.

Going forward, the jobsite would continue to be known as http://www.Yellojobs.com. The url NDTVjobs.com is owned by NDTV and is hence completely their own decision how to use it next. As of now , the users typing NDTVjobs.com or the ones redirected from NDVT.com (JOBS link) continue to see NDTVjobs.com powered by Yellojobs.com as the homepage. This is a temporary transitional process in interest of the users on NDTV.com. Apart from the name NDTVjobs.com, the entire site is fully owned & managed by Yellojobs and will continue it is. This includes the hot new concept of YelloRewards that allows members from the public to refer friends to jobs in specific companies to win cash, database, all functionalities, etc.

Overall, Yellojobs.com will now invest in their own brand name and has plans to further strengthen the platform by adding newer services to increase credibility & value for its users.

  3. Names do not make any differences..!! At last .. it should sove the purpose of the existence..!!
    —- GOOD LUCK.. (i)

  4. Third class site and services. I personally advise to not go for any business or job option with this yellojobs company.

  5. deepak seems to really have something personal against the website. didnt really find the website so bad as he says. in fact the referral concept is actually very good.

and if deepak is telling such things about the company, he must be saying this in comparison to any other job portal. did he think naukri was a hit website from day one. yellojobs has been in the indian job market for only one year and see the progress it has made.

it was the first job portal in india to come up with jobs with RS. 150000 and only for graduates.

then it was the first to come up with a blog for job seekers and employers (which was later copied by naukri and monster)

then came the referral concept. naukri initially said that it will not come up with a similar concept but then it introduced brijj.com.

y is yellojobs.com copied if it is really such a third class website as mr deepak tells.

  6. Ahhh..!! Is it a frustration from Mr. Deepak or is it a competitor`s voice.. who is stopping the jobseekers and the organistaions to deal with yellojobs. I am a consultant, i was been able to fulfill the vacant position even with a lesser nos. of resumes coz they were 100% relevenat in four days….(not Duplicates as others).. so yellojobs.. I wish you all the best.. and I am with you..thanks..
