Well I am not saying that, Big players like Google, Yahoo, Rediff, Zapak, Tv18 seem be targeting the Indian youth all the time.
Although India is one the fastest growing internet markets, all companies, Indian as well as global seem to be targeting the youth.
Lets have a look at what all companies have being doing to lure the Indian youth –
Google – launched “product prodigy” a contest for computer science students (local colleges) to build products that can be deployed for Internet users globally with a cash price of Rs20lakh and an opportunity to visit Google Headquarters. Yahoo- the very famous President of India trick, making Mr Abdul Kalam and other popular Youth idols to ask questions on Yahoo Q&A. (Click here to read more)
Rediff – Rediff launched iShare, a social platform for the Indian Youth/teenagers where they can create and display their content online. Infact they have even started a Channel “Anecho” which is dedicated to Indian non Commercial music (again targeting the youth). (Click here to read more)

Minglebox has made virals like collegitis and most of their mails to users has subjects like "Join your classmates at So and so college on Minglebox".
