What is Zipazap.com and what does it do?
It’s a online TV, and radio guide (put simply). Zipazap provides detailed and real-time information on TV channel listings such as timings, program and film descriptions, star casts and even recommendations. its much like any TV guide that is available Zipzap.com is founded by Media E2E a media technology company based in Mumbai
The Good –
Well the service sounds good, they have a lot of channels to choose from, zipzap even have World Space radio channels. So you can keep a track on the nest or forthcoming shows. Zipazap operates through the Internet and mobile wireless access protocol.
The Bad –
Although they claim that they are “India’s first digital television and radio programming guide and we hope to have the first-mover advantage in the space” there are already existing established players.
Indiatimes TV guide – a popular, well established website having a backing of Indiatimes. They offer the same service for quite sometime now. Currently they offer way more channels than ZipZap.com
oneindia another website that provides programming guides for Indian channels.
TVZAP – is an excellent international website, it doesn’t have channels or any programming guide but it will take you to the best programming websites that are available online that too country specific.
im not quite understanding their statement of “first digital television……”
Future –
According to live mint they have plans to venture into markets outside India. The company is also in talks with several telecom operators to provide its service on their IPTV platforms Bharti Airtel Ltd and MTNL’s Time Broadband Services Pvt. Ltd in this regard.
There are existing sites available, so what I would really want to know is what is it that Zipzap offering that is different from others (other than world space).

Oneindia.in has been publishing the TV schedules on the web ( http://entertainment.oneindia.in/television/program/ ) and for the mobile ( http://www.oneindia.mobi ) for a while now.
1) Go to http://www.google.com
2) Go to igoogle on the top right of the page
3) Sign in with your google account(if u have one) or sign up with some other email id
4) On the page after signing in you will see a link add stuff. Click on it.
5) On bottom left of this new page you will see add feed.
6) Copy and paste this – http://library.zipazap.com/rss.asp?type=movies
7) Go back to igoogle homepage
You should see a Zipazap Feed.
