What is Youmagix?
At first Youmagix looks like some kind of a local search network, but going deep, it’s a mixture of classifieds/local search/ wiki(to an extent).
What can you do?
Well you can search for local content e.g movies, restaurants, theaters etc.
You can add content (classifieds type) and rate it too.
The Good
Anyone can add content to the website, it does not require registration.
5 Countries have been covered (more to choose from) India Usa, Canada, Australia, UK.
Around 12 search options, some being –
Restaurants, Outings, Movies, Colleges, Hospitals etc.
The Bad
Anyone can add but no one can edit the content. That can be a cause for concern in the future. It can be used as any advertisers paradise and will invite a lot of spam classifieds.
Although one can add a remark to the content, but cannot edit it.
Conclusion –
The service can certainly be very helpful and does sound promising but again my major cause for concern would be the moderation of 5 countries having over 200 states (collectively) providing 12 different services each having approximately 3sub categories.

Thanks Gautam for insightful feedback. I agree that it is important that people are able to review and edit content to improve it's quality over time.
Peer review driven logic works best for categories of content when everyone can potentially have better information about certain dimension of content than every one else, for example, contents such as facts about things and places.
Editability (Peer Review) has questionable value when the person who writes the content has the best information, for example, in case of a classified listing of "House for rent".
I appreciate your inputs & take this opportunity to state that our team is working on next generation platform that will have right mix of editable & uneditable content to create a useful place for everyone.
i am sure you must have kept that aspect in mind while launching this service, as i said in my post, the service can be very useful, only and only if things are under control. the tough part seems to be content management from your end, the idea of harnessing the wisdom of the crowd is great but making such a strong community is very tough (not impossible) and thats why i appreciate what you guys are doin (being different).
