Orkut copies Facebook - Introduces NEWS FEEDS

One feature which was definitely a long time over due was a Recent Updates feature.
Something which tells you that what your friends have been up to. Whether they’ve updated their pics or added new videos. Added new friends or made any profile editions.
It did get real tiresome to go check each and every friend’s profile to find out if he or she has been up to something. Well now Orkut has rolled out a feature - “Updates from your friends“. It’s a box on your home page which is going to serve you real-time updates from your network…
This move might actually reduce the total number of pageviews being generated per individual – since it would probably reduce the arbit general orkutting which Indians have got pretty addicted to.
This features going to be rolled out over the next few days…
Facebook’s had this feature for long and it definitely helps when one has a lot of friends in ones network.
