Yes, I agree with Raj's comment. It seems going the way MNCs that Hindi is the only language of India.

It is shame on these companies that they can't do something basic of providing more models with non-Hindi SMS support.

One sees Bangalore very few models with Tamil SMS support, Tamils being close to 40% of the city.

Shame on Nokia, Motorola, Ericson, Samsung for this skewed strategy of faviouring only one language (Hindi) in a multilingual country. Hindians are not the only Indians.

One would wish Indian cell phones to have multilanguage support (other than Hindi and English ofcourse).

One is not looking hifi but really lowfi.

Hindi/English cellphones are available all over India...Even German/Spanish support cell phone is available all over India.

However Tamil/English/(with/without other language) does not appear to be available or very limitedly available outside TN.

Offcourse the wrist bands are great. Also great(?) most phones supporting but limited to Hindi.

Are Nokia and Samsung yets another example of MNCs going the Hindi-only way.

All the talk of hifi is less relevant to something really really concerns most Indian.

AN INDIAN NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO BUY A CELL PHONE WHICH CAN SMS IS HIS/HER MOTHERTOUNGE (which is not necessarily Hindi or Sanskrit).
