Proto.in – A pathbreaking event!
"A pathbreaking event!" is what Sateesh Andra of DFJ Venture Capital termed Proto.in post the event. For all those who dont know Proto.in is a technology showcase for tech startups who are looking to raise venture capital. We have covered the first edition of proto here and the second edition concluded on this sunday in Chennai. For all those who dont know.. To showcase at proto.in tech startups need to apply and those shortlisted get 6 minutes to pitch their product to an elite audience (many being VC’s). We have earlier interviewed the organisers behind proto here.
Day 1 @ Proto.in
Proto was a two day event and the first day was all about knowledge sharing presentations that touched upon various areas of concern for a startup. The entire topic list and speakers that spoke can be found here.
My favourite among all the presentations that i saw was the one made by Narain from equvia. And im embedding that presentation for our readers. Its on the future trends of social media.
Day 2 @ Proto.in
This is the day when all the 22 startups were suppose to do their 6 minute gig to attract minshare and capital.
