In an interview with a Mid-Day correspondent (Ram Kamal Mukherjee), Amitabh Bachchan was asked…
“Q: Do you have an account in Orkut?
A: What’s that?”

Perhaps his son, Abhishek Bachchan could enlighten him about it – since Orkut has been nominated along with him as the MTV Youth Icon of the year.
Well Orkut finally has an official blog!

It’s been more than 3 years since Orkut was launched. Orkut Buyukkokten (Founder) jokes ‘better late than never, right?’ and adds:
“We hope that this will be a great way for you to learn about what’s new on orkut, and get to know the orkut team. Here you’ll read about new features, get tips on using old ones, and hear stories about how we work and who we are.”
Well I’m sure this is one blog most of the Indian bloggers would track.

hi to all orkut members…know what orkut is one of the best sites on the net and it has done so much to change people's life.I personally got more than 100 of my frnds whome i cant even dreamt of talking to,before orkut.I am from India and a member for more than 1 yr.Orkut has improved a lot in the recent times like they have added a reply button below the craps in ur scrapbook so that you dont have to go to that persons profile again and again to post scraps.This and a lot of things has made orkut the most happening place on net.Thanks to you orkut and thanks to Google.
