Indyarocks Moves from Private to Public Beta today

We had covered this Social Networking Site back in April and it was mostly good things that what we had to say about them – apart from the complexity and the far-too-many options it threw at the users.
Well indyarocks is moving from a Private Beta to a Public Beta launch today and they have definitely taken our advice and have a nice comprehensive Help Centre set up now!
[Update: (1:30PM IST) They've just gone live - Public Beta.]
Current number of members: 1700 (Approximately).
This would surely shoot up with them opening up registrations now.
New developments @ the site:
They have an entertainment zone set up, which would try to engage users around Bollywood! This would greatly rely on User Generated Content.
This definitely makes economic sense, as it gives indyarocks an option to monetize this section – introducing ringtones, mobile downloads etc.
This zones called the Movieplex and looks real jazzy!
Bollywood, Cricket, Politics and the Stock Market. 4 must-have zones for constant user engagement. These 4 verticals drive media consumption in India.
Tribes / Communties are in place. I wish they had something like interest badges to go along with it. Interest badges also help users connect with people of similar interests etc.
Have a look at this example of a Tribe.
Mobile features have been ramped up. Apart from Free SMS scraps and Free SMS calendar notification, they had introduced a Free Group SMS feature – something perhaps similar to what SMSGupShup have got going. I’m not really sure if – Reply back to complete group option is available too. Hopefully Kalyan Manyam (Founder) would share some more info about this feature with us…

I am not feeling bad dude! :-@ . I love people who try something new, and watblog community belongs to the same lot. It's just that i feel these guys can improve a lot. Infact i would love to be part of their team. I know it's far more easier to find faults than to create a perfect product. This blog has potential of becoming india's techcrunch, but at the same time they need to work hard to improve quality.
May be my expectations are more.
