Just a little Monday morning humour:

Well on a serious note, Facebook is no way as popular as Orkut in India. But it’s catching up.
The geeky junta is slowly shifting to Facebook. A lot has to do with the plethora of options Facebook throws at you – especially ever since they opened up their platform to external developers.
According to Alexa, Orkut continues to be the 2nd most popular site in India - while Facebook has risen to 37. WATblog is around the 750 mark!
The above comic was made by me using ToonDoo.
What is ToonDoo?
ToonDoo is a cool, comic-creating tool from Jambav (funded by Zoho’s parent company, AdventNet).
The creation tool is a flash based application; you can choose from various characters, props, backgrounds available & can even upload your own images and use all this to make your own comic strip.
Believe me, it’s really simple and great fun!
The above comic has been an inspiration of course!

Orkut thrives in india because of its simplicity. Facebook is too complicated for indian girls
Facebook has a really nice and impressive interface and hence people are definitely making accounts there. Moreover the facebook development is quite rapid and open, opening up their API's has made them even more popular, whereas orkut development seems almost dead.
Hi!
Thanks for using ToonDoo to convey a message chic snappy and easy.
Did you try the "Toon Embed" code? It lets you show the whole image, either as a html scroll, or as a cool Flashy scroll. Do try it out!
Thanks.
Rajendran.

@ Hrishikesh: Don't be surprised if you get hounded by some of our female readers for passing that statement!
@ Shubham: Completely agree with you….the main reason for orkut's success here has been its simplicity…..even non-net-savvy junta find it pretty simple to use it and basically the main communication and engagement element is still scrapping….the established net junta is slowly moving on to a lil more complex code….widgets are definitely going to drive usage.
@ Rajendran: I really like the simplicity of ToonDoo….i think all you guys at Zoho are doing a real great job. keep it up
