Mobile2win recently tied up with Saregama who will be introducing a mobile game for their movie Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii.

In an article by Timesofindia, Indian movies get only 40% of its revenue trough the box office, the remaining 60% comes from DVD mobile Wallpapers Ringtones, games, caller tunes etc.

Recently there was an article which stated that Jump games had signed Bollywood actress sameera reddy for a period of two years. They will be developing a game revolving around her. There are also wallpapers, ringtones, themes etc that would all be available on your mobile handset. Also Sameera reddy ha lent her voice as the alarm, so you have an actress waking you up everyday.

After the successzapak of Lage Raho Munnabhai Arshad Warsi has been roped in by Spiel Studio for a mobile game created around him.
Baabul starring Amitabh Bachan also had a mobile game. Salman khan has signed a deal with Zapak games and will star in games.

Gaming based on Bollywood films and personalities is already estimated to be worth around Rs.100 million ($2.2 million).

There have been over a dozen (movie related) games developed in the year 2006 itself. Some of which include DON, Babul, Rang De Basanti etc. Salman khan’s movie Marigold made a Premiere on the mobile as well.
