How to read RSS Feeds via your Mobile?
Email It!
You’re always on the go? Even though you’ve got an RSS feed reader set up on your PC – you are not able to find enough time in the day to go through all the content coming in?
Well perhaps its time to give your Mobile another reason to redeem its high cost?!
(Still an alien in the RSS world? Be sure to read our RSS tutorial)
We’ll concentrate more on the free readers:
Google Reader mobile:

A lot of you might not be aware of the fact that if you use Google Reader, you can access a version designed for mobile phones.
There are two ways you can reach Google Reader Mobile:
1. Go to http://www.google.com/reader/m on your mobile phone.
2. From your computer: add Google Reader gadget to your personalized homepage.
From your mobile phone: visit google.com, select the ‘Personalized Home’ link, then sign in with your username and password.

Very popular and one of the most widely used. I would definitely recommend Bloglines if you are new to the RSS world. The mobile version is pretty neat. Greatly helped by the fact that you do not have to download anything.
Register an account. Add our feed. Key in bloglines.com/mobile on your phone. Login and you would be able to view our latest content.

Mobispine is a free Java application for reading your feeds on your mobile. The service also includes a web component where users can add feeds to the Mobispine database, see related feeds, and leave comments. They claim to be much cheaper and faster than you in-built mobile web browser. That too 20 times cheaper! (In terms of GPRS usage)
We are just testing mobispine out and would have an updated review in some time.

Once downloaded to your phone, LiteFeeds allows you to browse your feeds, email articles to friends, post articles to your own blog or bookmark them to your del.icio.us account.

FreeRange turns your phone into your own personal zone - a customizable homepage for your mobile phone.
Lots of features and runs on very wide range of phones. (Blackberry, Palm Treo, Symbian phones, Windows Mobile and almost all new MIDP 2.0 Java phones).
What I like is the high range of customization and search options.

ZapTXT Mobile Widget is a widget designed to bring the functionality of zaptxt.com to your mobile phone.
What is ZapTXT.com though?
ZapTXT lets you create custom keyword searches to track your favourite RSS-enabled websites via email.
FeederReader:
This is a full-featured RSS Aggregator with podcast listening and watching and enclosure support, running on Windows Mobile. It is designed for downloading and reading RSS feeds on Smartphones and Pocket PCs without the assistance of a host computer. You can update the feeds when the device is connected to the Internet (i.e. through a LAN or Mobile Phone) and read them while offline.
This is also especially well suited for developers, allowing you to view the RAW XML files for and its XML elements and attributes.
Not free. Costs 19.95$

ive been using google reader for a long time but never knew about their mobile capability. thanx for info
mobispine is great. i've been using it for quite some time.
My site has a mobile rss interface. It’s not intended to replace google reader or any other tool. It does have a use in some circumstances where you just want to read a feed on your mobile but you don’t want to add it to your regular rss reader. it’s located at http://wampad.com/rss and is just one feature of the site at wampad.com. You can either enter in the entire url to the feed or you can just enter in the feedburner id. So to read machable you would just need to enter mashable in the input box and hit go, save a ton of typing on your mobile. shawn at wampad.com
Check out this article http://mashable.com/2007/06/11/rss-toolbox/ it talks about 120 RSS reader for various platforms..
