Gaming tie ups: Indiagames and Games2win in tie up mode with Microsoft and Animax

It seems like its tie up season when it comes to online gaming players. In two separate deals Indiagames and Games2win have gone ahead with tie ups.

indiagamesIndiagames tied up with microsoft for the online retailing of the popular console game Xbox 360. This partnership will empower indiagames to sell Xbox 360 and other Microsoft peripherals through its new virtual shopping portal IGShop.

Vishal Gondal the CEO of Indiagames had  the following to say to moneycontrol , "Our policy has always been to partner with the best in the industry. We are very pleased to begin IGShop with Microsoft products. We will soon add more products to IGShop, giving gamers a single platform to source world class products." 

games2winIn another online gaming tie up Games2win has tied up with animax for cross promotion activity of the animation series Initial D and the Sega game CT Racer which would be available on Games2win. Games2win plans to promote the CT Racer game by seeting up gaming kiosks across cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. It also plans to lure gamers by giving out fully loaded car-racing game console specially designed by Games2win to those who play well and qualify at these kiosks.

Games2win CEO and founder Alok Kejriwal told Indiantelevision, "This is indeed a very synergistic partnership between us and Animax. The content of the on air program – racing cars is in deep sync with our online car racing game and given the common target audience, the connect is perfect. Also the idea of taking the experience in public malls allows us to touch maximum consumers who are beating the Indian summer chilling out in these cool malls."
