The Appletube is coming!

Now Apple TV users will be able to browse, watch and save Youtube videos directly using the Apple TV starting mid June(internationally). One’s computer won’t be required to watch videos.
Steve Jobs said that “This is the first time users can easily browse, find and watch YouTube videos right from their living room couch, and it’s really, really fun. YouTube is a worldwide sensation, and Apple TV is bringing it directly from the Internet onto the widescreen TV in your living room.
However Apple TV users will be able to log into their Youtube accounts but won’t be surfing the Youtube site live. Apple TV will directly stream videos from Youtube and play it on a user’s screen.
Apple TV will make thousands of ‘current and popular’ YouTube videos available, meaning YouTube’s entire catalog of video content won’t be available. But Youtube promises to add thousands of videos every week till the full Youtube catalogue becomes available.
In addition to this, Apple has announced to upgrade the hard drive of the Apple TV, boosting the size to 160 GB from the original 40 GB. This gives enough space for 200 hours of videos, 36000 songs, 25000 photos or a combination of all three. The TV will be available for US $399, or $100 more than the 40Gb model.
