Yah that sounds quite cool, does’nt it? Microsoft Corp. has come up with unique e-mail ids for every kind of Indian powered by Windows Live Hotmail beginning www.lokhandwalarocks.com. Now users, anywhere in India can choose any email id they want through a feature called custom domains. This is Microsoft’s first step towards customizing email for consumers in India.

Well this site is dedicated to all Lokhandwala lovers. Well nothing great about the site, its actually promoting a movie called Shootout at Lokhandwala which is going to be released soon. The site boasts of having your own Lokhandwala id and then you can enter the contest and eventually win movie tickets.Users can also blog about their love for Lokhandwala via Windows Live Spaces. It has other categories like debate, shoot videos, contests which directly leads to MSN Specials.

According to Jaspreet Bindra, Country Head, MSN India and Windows Live. "Email needs to connect with the user in a deeper way and this will be possible with custom domain ids powered by Windows Live Hotmail. MSN India believes that there is a need to move email from just a being a service to becoming an extension of a consumer’s personality and identity. We aim to deliver an email id for every kind of Indian which truly reflects their identity and personality. This is our way of offering more from one’s email".

The site will also be coming up with exclusive email ids for the true mumbaikars at MUMBAIROCKS.in
