Come June 16th , Pune is going to have a barcamp of it’s own - Blogcamp-Pune. It promises to provide a nice get away to Pune during monsoons and also engage your minds. So pin up your outlook calendars as busy for the 16th i.e. if u plan to work on a Saturday and get the travel reservations done. For our readers who are on the “don’t know what barcamp camp’s are” side:

“BarCamp is an international network of
                                    unconferences — open, participatory
                                    workshop-events, whose content is provided
                                    by participants.”
                                    - Wikipedia

A promotional pic from their blogs:

Blogcamp is a specific Barcamp, focusing exclusively on Blogs, Bloggers and Blogosphere. There have been only two such events in the past, one at Chennai and other at Switzerland. Going by the reports on net about these events the one at Pune is also going to be a big one. Since these are free unconferences, there is generally a limit on number of attendees, so to avoid any last minute disappointment get yourself registered. Registration is fairly simple you just need to add yourself to their wiki (barcamp.org/BlogCampPune). Blogcamp Pune is going to be an interesting event (going by the promotional pics series) so come with your Blogs loaded.

Also you can also suggest topics to be discussed on their wiki and blogs. It seems as the event draws near we can expect loads of activity to take place.

See you at Blogcamp Pune.
