On 8th May we had a post dedicated to – What is going to increase GPRS usage in India?
In which we talked about a WAP version of Orkut would really work wonders.
In the same post as a comment I’d posted:
And that’s exactly what Ngcoders have come up with. They have made a neat php script by which you can get notified of Orkut scraps via RSS Feed.
The script converts Orkut scraps into a RSS feed so you can check scraps in your favourite feed reader without even logging into your Orkut account.
To get your scraps as RSS feed, just use the URL given below and replace the XYZ with your Orkut ScrapBook userid:
http://www.indian-tv.com/orkut.php?uid=XYZ
To get your Orkut ScrapBook uid -
Login to orkut and click scrapbook link in the sidebar. You will see the uid parameter in the browser address bar.

What’s cool?
You can not only track your scraps but also track scraps of anyone who is registered on Orkut. And they won’t even know that you visited their profile! This will definitely promote voyeurism…but it’s still pretty cool!
Well we posted that a lot users have started deleting scraps…..well now via this you’ll be able to spy on those chaps too!
This is how my Orkut scraps look like in Google Reader:

Don’t know what’s RSS? Check out the WATblog RSS tutorial ASAP.
