Looking at the blogging potential in India, eBay India has recently launched eBay blogs for their seller’s trough which sellers get a platform to showcase their product better and give a more customized feel of their own shop (page) for buyers to view them.

Rajan Mehra, Country Manager, eBay India, said, “We introduced the My World and eBay Blogs features to enable the fast growing eBay community to interact and exchange views on a common platform. We hope this will facilitate interaction between trading partners that will amount to better understanding, higher satisfaction and greater transparency and connection within the eBay community.”

My World the other product by eBay allows registered users to customize their own page by giving it a personalized touch on which users can showcase their personality and interests tastes and habits some of which is already available on eBay.

The blogging scene in India has been really picking up and showing great potential. Companies are starting to understand the importance of user generated content. Fropper  a social networking website also recently launched ‘EZBlogs for their users trough which users can post their thoughts and give reviews.
