Naukri vs TimesJobs – Now on YouTube!

There was a lot of hue and cry recently over the print campaign undertaken by TimesJobs. (Everyone’s quitting naukri…)

And Naukri countered back of course, but the latest counter is the one which is worth seeing -

A YouTube viral video, based on Naukri’s famous Hari Sadu ad:

Nice work and definitely gets the message across.

Sanjeev Bikhchandani on his blog says:

Within our company after the Timesjobs, “Everyone’s quitting naukri” campaign broke there was some concern for a couple of days. However soon enough both Marketing and Sales people were smiling.

The Marketing guys were happy because our daily new resume registration was up by twenty percent (even though we were off television) without any change in the marketing inputs that we were providing.

Monster on the other end seem to be progressing quite well too and were recently adjudged as the best jobs website in India by PC World.

t for thrash, i for insecure, m for manipulative, e for erratic and s for shameless.

    That made my day!

    It's funny.

I wish it had been our idea.

    Hi Sanjeev,

Glad to have a comment from you. Surprising it's not your idea. I thought it would be someone from Naukri who put it up.

Apurva Kumar had mentioned that 'Hari Sadu' had gotten Naukri quite a few court cases filed against them! But the execution on this viral is pretty awesome! All the better if it has been done by a Naukri fan.
