Handygo introduces Pay-Per-Play for mobile phones

Handygo has just launched a service that provides users to play games without downloading them directly on their cell phone and pay only for the amount of times they play the game.

Handygo is a provider of Value Added Services and space-based solutions in a wire-free world of Mobile telephony User is charged in advance for pre paid and billed for post paid connections. Rs 5 is the fixed amount that would be charged for per session.

Handygo COO Gopal Krishna says, "We want to popularize mobile games so that users can play these games and yet pay a very minimum cost. We have priced the game at Rs.5 per session to bring more and more users to play these games. It should indeed make the mobile gaming even more popular among the mobile users because of its price attractiveness unlike fixed price game download usually starting at Rs.50

Pay-per-play makes sense as users can get a trial of the game before downloading them unlike downloading games directly where most of the times users have to directly download the game and then use them & if the game doesn’t turn out to be interesting enough then you know that you are stuck with it.

Currently these services are available only to Hutch and Airtel users.
