Well some of you would have definitely seen the DesiMartini.com ad on TV recently. I happened to see it on HBO last weekend and it did seem pretty cool.

What baffles me is the time of advertising. The site is definitely not completely ready yet. I mean even the logo has not been updated on their site.

But traffic wise they are doing pretty well, here’s a traffic-reach comparison between Minglebox.com, Yaari.com and DesiMartini.com in the past 3 months, the sudden surge can easily be noticed:

DesiMartini is almost getting the same reach as MingleBox.com according to Alexa.

But they could really do with some more structure to their site. They want to mean everything to the user. The USP seems to be a little lacking.
‘My Bets’ is an interesting feature I see. Another thing is, Google Ads are already in place!

Well there is definitely a need for a local Social Networking site in India and we are still witnessing new players with each passing day.

The best in social networking is yet to be seen according to Rajesh Barnwal, the co-founder of social network site SirfDosti.
The site says: Huge response, great network, we need a bigger server! We’re setting up SirfDosti.com on a powerful server. Please check back soon.
