Orkut has changed the faces of the people on its homepage. So what you may say?? well whats important to note is that now there are a few indian faces unlike before. Which like orkut’s diwali logo reinstates the importance both google and orkut are giving to the indian userbase.

I guess with all the new social networks coming up along with some really large players orkut realises the importance of having a connect with the indian audience.

I think the indian urban youth is the most lucrative market from a marketing point of view and most social networks would do anything to have the largest active userbase in that segment and from the looks of it orkut is no different.

  1. Rajiv: Interesting. You think this could be location based?

  2. I think this could be a location based thing….acc. to geographical location. You've circled only 2 indian faces…there are 2 other prominent ones and I don't get what the top pic is trying to portray?

  3. well the topic is trying to potray the fact that orkut realises the importance of the indian audience and its potential
