After launching multilingual IM and yahoo channels. Its time to create more hindi content for yahoo. And to make sure that the content isn’t plagiarised like before it has tied up with Jagran Prakashan (more famous for its newspaper Dainik Jagran)

So Jagran Prakashan has tied up with Yahoo india to launch a hindi portal that will focus on current affairs.

The portal would be called Jagran.com and would seamlessly integrate Jagran content with Yahoo Indias online presence and provide both online services and print media content for users and advertisers, according to a company statement.

According to the agreement, Jagran and Yahoo India will share graphical and keyword advertising revenue generated by the portal with Yahoo! India managing the advertising sales and serving for the new co-branded property.

"We will bring in content while Yahoo brings in technology and their understanding of Internet audiences to provide an unparallelled Internet experience in the Hindi space," Jagran Prakashan CEO Sanjay Gupta said.
