The online gaming scene seems to be hotting up day by day. After zapak’s huge media spend and indiagames acquisition by UTV it seems like its the turn of another gaming player to join the league of the big boys.

Mumbai-based Games2win.com announced Wednesday it had raised about $5 million from leading U.S. venture capital firms Clearstone Venture Partners and Silicon Valley Bank Financial Group.

Games2win.com website is currently dedicated to casual games like Zapak.com but like Zapak and Indiagames Games2win also plans to get into MMOG [massive multiplayer online games] for India by licensing globally popular games.

The 5 Million $ will be used to upgrade content hire staff and ofcourse to advertise like there’s no tomorrow.
