Search marketing professional Organisation(SEMPO) a non profit organization for search engine marketing industry and professionals started SEMPO India Chapter to focus on Indian search market

SEMPO India Chair, Vivek Bhargava(of communicate2),in a press release said, "The SEMPO India team has big plans for 2007.We hope to increase the awareness of SEMPO in India and to gain local membership
(right now they are only 9 memebers). We also plan to initiate research projects that are based on the search scenario in India."so we may get a better picture on Indian search marketing scienario..SEMPO is also planning a one-day search workshop and providing SEMPO Institute in India with localized research and networking events.
