KLM Airlines have created a customer centric(only for frequent flyer club members)social networking website where than that connect people doing business in China and Africa. Memebers of the club can network with other members and pick up tips from business contacts, read overview of Africa/China’s business, hapeenings across the contries and general information and participate in exclusive club gatherings

KLM also launched a exclusive community for golf lovers www.fbgolfclub.com where in memebers can get discount on golf trips and network with fellow travelling golfers. KLM is planning to launch similar networks based on India and Russia soon. They are community websites targeting frequent flyers like www.flyertalk.com, but KLM is the first airlines to launch there own online community. Read more on How an airline can use social networks
