Visit this blog to know more about the protest which is asking "Yahoo! to apologize to the bloggers and not shamelessly remove the content from their servers."

A blogger who owns the blog Kariveppilla has alledged that her recipes were blatantly copied and posted on Yahoo’s malayalam site. Yahoo in reply to these allegations has cited that “we do not admit of any copyright violation.”

In response to the allegations Yahoo told Digital Inspiration " The Malayalam story was provided to us by Webdunia.com (the content provider) on the express representation that they are duly authorized by the author of the story to publish it,”

So inturn yahoo passed on the buck to the content provider Webdunia!

Well going forward content stealing would have to be taken seriously both by publishers and content providers as such instances can create a lot damage to an online brand. Hopefully yahoo has learnt its lesson.
