Localisation of content is the being considered the next big thing in the indian interent scene as so many regions with different language biases are prevalent in our vast country so its no surprise that Yahoo! is going Indian with portals launched in as many as seven local languages. The company aims to attain the market share in this country which is increasingly becoming more internet aware.

With this move yahoo as a portal is targetting the regional markets and also regional advertisers thereby looking to expand its revenue through advertising.
