Ibibo the new kid on the block which is a part of Naspers, a multibillion-dollar global media conglomerate with businesses in South Africa, China, Brazil, Russia, the US, the Netherlands, Thailand, Greece, Cyprus is now getting aggressive in India. After acquiring two web 2.0 startups and launching a 1.5 crore contest for blogging on Ibibo in India Ibibo is has now launched two new services Ibibo Mobile and Ibibo Sawaal. While ibibo mobile lets you blog through your mobile through sms or gprs Ibibo sawaal is a Yahoo answers look alike! Its quite interesting to note that question and answer type of web 2.0 is really taking off even though google has shut its own answers product!

Also Ibibo is looking to recruit aggressively as I saw a 1/2 page ad in todays Times ascent newspaper! You can see their long list of recruitment requirements here.

Well by the looks of it Ibibo seems to be aggressively expanding its internet properties and i wont be surprise if we saw more acquisitions in internet space from its parent company Nasper in India.
