We had told you this was coming! Orkut google’s blue eyed social network has added a feature that will probably increase the usage of youtube in India!

Orkut which has more that 4 million registered indian users (check the statistic below out of the total 41 million users indian users are 12%) has now gone ahead and integrated itself with Youtube and google video (both are one and the same now with google acquiring youtube!).

So now orkut users can upload their video’s on google and youtube and share it with users on orkut! This would act as a new viral dimension to orkut!

Also it would get the advertisers tongues wagging as video viral ads could be made popular for a youth audience thats still untapped in India!!!

 All i can say is this was a long pending move and now puts orkut as serious contender for being considered in most media and Pr plans in India!

 Are the advertisers listening??
