MIH Web Pvt ltd is looking at a 3 pronged approach- build, invest and acquire t ogain a significant share in Indian internet industry. Under its build strategy it launched ibibo.com. Bixee.com and pixrat.com were acquired under its invest and acquire strategy, reports Business Standard. MIH India has already set up a sprawling 40,000 sq ft headquarter in Gurgaon, and is setting up its engineering and research and development centre in Bangalore in a week. MIH is planning to launch another brand by May 2007 and will make more announcements and acquisitions in next 6-8 weeks. As part of brand building exercise ibibo.com is launching a Rs 1.5 crore campaign- The Great blogger hunt which has a reward of Rs.1.5 crore for top 100 bloggers.
