Mumbai has maximum internet users in India!

According to the Internet in India (I-Cube) study jointly undertaken by the Internet And Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and IMRB International mumbai has 3.24 million internet users out of which 82% are active users i.e a whopping 2.6 million!
That begs the question.. Why is mumbai not getting WiMax? There was news earlier of Chennai getting wimax which had less than half the internet users than mumbai has.
So what do users so on the internet? Well a large chunk of users almost 60-70% are either using internet as a primary source of information search (No doubt guruji.com got funded for 7 million dollars) or the most common reason for internet usage is email. Read the entire press release here
