Yahoo’s former India head Neville Taraporewalla, has decided to join Connecturf, as MD & CEO. V Ramani, the current CEO will take on the role of vice-chairmanship of the group. Mr Taraporewalla, who will be the operational in charge of the company will report to Ishan Raina, chairman and innovator of Connecturf as well as the board reports Economic Times. Connecturf’s shareholders also include, New York-based Havas advertising conglomerate, which also runs Euro RSCG in India, Sandeep Sin of E-Ventures, Microland, Havas’ media arm MPG and Ishan Raina, chairman of EuroRSCG India.
Connecturf is also in a strategic alliance with Enpocket, a leading global M-CRM solutions provider to offer mobile marketing solutions in India. Ramani is rebulding the team at connectturf after several top executives (Ratish nair, Anjali hegde, Sunil Miranda, Amardeep singh) left connectturf in April,2006 and started Interactive avenues and did pretty well in first 4 months winning 30 clients (mostly connecttrurf clients).
