Business Standard: Raghav Kher, the founder, says “Our USP vis a vis the friendly-neighbourhood DVD rental store will be the convenience of keeping the DVD for a longer time and being able to order in advance." Kher claims that six months in Bangalore have resulted in 7,500 subscribers.

Well there are three more dvd rental startups in madhouse.in , catchflix.com and cinesprite.com. This is a very interesting segment as it involves changing user habits of calling up th local dvd guy to paying online. So its gonna be one tough job to change the calling habit.

I agree with Rajiv. Changing user habits of calling up a local DVD guy to order for a movie is a tough job.

Madhouse is aligning itself to user habits and adding more value to renting a movie, along with that.

Madhouse believes that the real way to reach mass market in India (to tap into the entertainment passion of Indians), one needs to have multi-channel model. Madhouse has the following channels to interact with its customers

    - Web
    - Customer Care ? Phone
    - Customer Care ? SMS
    - Customer Care ? e-mail
    - Madhouse kiosks / tieup with local retailers

This way, we are easily accessible to customers when they think movies!
