Music can be everything you want it to be.. It can be spiritual, romantic, religious and even money! Well if its mobile music that is. According to Juniper Research revenues from mobile music services will top $14bn worldwide by 2011. Also Asia will become the world’s largest market for mobile music by 2011 with some 40 per cent of global sales. Asia’s mobile phone users could be spending more than $9bn a year on ringtones and music for their phones by 2010, research firm In-Stat predicts.

China and India will drive the growth, though Japan will continue to be the region’s largest single market for mobile music.

The exponential rise in these numbers will be attributted to availability of 3G network capacity and music-friendly feature phones. In the past ringtones were the primary driver for mobile music growth but this will change as digital music on high end handsets create a new market.

All in all play on till its all music to the ears and money in the bag ;) what say?
