ClickJobs launches new features

ClickJobs.com, an e-recruitment portal by BharatMatrimony group which is sort of a late entrant in the jobs market after Naukri, Timesjobs, Monster, Jobstreet and others but has been catching up with the others. It has introduced two new features, including "My Search" and "Real Time Web Notification".
"My Search," a state-of-the-art search engine on ClickJobs.com, allows employers to customize their search options by offering 17 unique fields to choose from. Whereas, "Real Time Web Notification" works by sending instant alerts to prospective employers whenever candidates respond to their job postings.
Well the above new features though look ordinary will help ClickJobs in getting level with the competition. Besides the above they also have a toolbar similar to what naukri had lauched recently. Seems like th competition in the jobsite market its getting hotter by the day. But i still feel that some more innovation which ultimately leads to a differentiating factor would be required if you are a jobsite.
Update: While Clickjobs is releasing new features Naukri and Monster seem to be still fighting over who is no.1? Here is an excerpt of an interview given by Monster’s India President and MD Arun Tadanki to Business Standard..
Who’s bigger? Naukri’s Bikhchandani once told me, he’s got more visitors.
He’s referring to Alexa that measures page views — Naukri’s around 350th or so, while we’re around 800th. That’s not the way to measure though. You can visit either site, but if you haven’t downloaded the Alexa toolbar first, it won’t add you to the list of visitors. In any case, Naukri has 2-3 pop-ups, so the number of page views gets inflated — TimesJobs doesn’t have pop-ups, nor do we. What’s more important is the number of new resumes that you get each week, and we’re bigger here.
Give me numbers.
Employers want new resumes since you’re never sure if the person who posted a resume 3 months ago, say, is still looking for a job. If you look at one week-old resumes, we’ve got 72,332 resumes versus 67,208 for Naukri (on September 19). When you do city-specific searches, or job-searches, we throw up more resumes. On September 19, Naukri had 46,017 Delhi-based resumes that were a month old while Monster had 54,877, for instance. (The reason why journalists think Naukri’s bigger is that they register on this — while 16 of a Delhi-based competitors journalists were registered on Naukri, there were none on Monster!)

Excellent article. And certainly if you see the BharatMatrimony as a group, they have always been for innovation, whether it is matrimony on mobile, matrimonystamp, onlinehoroscope e.t.c.
I think the similar trend would follow too in the Jobs front at clickjobs.com. So, Naukri and Monster should be on the watch out.
I am using clickjobs on a trial basis for our recruitment requirement and i must agree that their features are really impressive. They dont have the great number of CVs when compared to Monster and Naukri, but in terms of usabilty, they beat any jobsite, hands down!. The web notification is similar to the google chat…when you are working on their site, you'll have a notification poppin-up ( similar to MSN Messenger types). My search is like making a car of your own types…. moreover , these clickjob guys launched the toolbar for the first-time but forgot to inform janta!!! wait and see .. they might become a big force soon. I am personally bored of this naukri and monster and find these guys interesting :))
I came across this new company Zapyourcv.com which is a resume distribution company; very impressive service offering from them for job seekers. looks to be a value for money proposition.
