HP places yahoo search & toolbar

Yahoo had signed an agreement with Hewlett-Packard to place a co-branded Internet toolbar on the company’s computers in North America and Europe. In addition, Yahoo would be the default search portal when HP computers start shipping with Internet Explorer 7 later this year.
While Google has signed with Dell, and software makers like Adobe Systems, Intuit and media companies like News Corp., Yahoo has responded by signing similar deals with acer and now with HP.
