BharatMatrimony hands media duties to Starcom

Funding from Yahoo and Canaan has given Bharat Matrimony Group the muscle power to advertise and now it has handed its media duties to Starcom Worldwide following a multi-agency pitch. The pitch for a whopping Rs 25-crore account involved six media agencies. The Bharat Matrimony Group portfolio includes clickjobs.com, indiaproperty.com, indiaautomobile.com, indialist.com and indiapages.com, the offline venture Matrimony Centres, and parent brand bharatmatrimony.com. The group also has a non-commercial social service portal, bharatbloodbank.com.
