It seems funding from Kliener Perkins and Sherpalo and a soon to come out IPO has given Naukri.com a great boost. It was only recently that they announced a tieup with CareerBuilder and now naukri has come out with one more innovative product and also the first job site in India to do so. So after Rediff.com launched its own toolbar now Naukri.com has launched a toolbar which gives Direct Access to all sections of My Naukri. The toolbar is compatible with Internet Explorer as well as Fire fox and offers offers the following features:
Key – Word search: Put in a keyword, like product manager, sales, java, C++ etc. and press the ‘Search Jobs’ button. It will show you all the matching jobs.
Free – Browser Utility: Highlight a word or a phrase on any page or right click and select the option “search this on Naukri.com” from the menu. One can also visit all the ‘My Naukri’ sections from the toolbar itself.
Bookmark : All “ My Naukri” sections are bookmarked in the toolbar.
Post your Resume: This button on the toolbar allows easy registration with Naukri to start getting job offers from the best of companies
Now how many people with use this toolbar is what i am wondering.. Naukri currently has 7 million registered users (please note thats over 9 years now so the number of active user will be less). As the toolbar only gives the facility to search naukri.com it may be installed when one is searching for jobs and uninstalled by users when one is not. But nevertheless Naukri.com needs to be praised for its innovative thinking and i feel now we shall see other job sites coming up with their toolbar as well.
Here is an idea i got! How about a job search toolbar that searches all the job sites and then gives you the results of the jobsites that have jobs exactly matching your requirement and then you can click on the job site you want to visit..
If anyone makes millions from the above idea please dont forget to pay me royalty

Looks like ClickJobs.com is also offering a toolbar. Look at http://www.clickjobs.com/js/toolbar_download.php
I only saw this today (27/09), but maybe clickjobs.com was the first indian site to launch a toolbar. (H)
ClickJobs.com was the first site to launch ToolBar. I am not sure, why naukri.com does false claim. This shows that the Competition is heating up and they are trying to use the media clout to supress the competition with false claims like their fake jobs.
Yeah clickjobs.com is the first to launch the toolbar.,
