Its a great time to be a part of Naukri group because not only its the first website company to file for an IPO but now it has got an exclusive tie up with US jobs giant Careerbuilder.com and India’s print media company Infomedia India

As part of the tie-up with Infomedia, Naukri.com will power content in the form of relevant job listings for 17 magazines of the Infomedia Group. The magazines are ‘Chip’, ‘Overdrive’, ‘AV Max Auto Monitor’, ‘Chemical World’, ‘Electrical and Electronics’, ‘Modern Machine’, ‘Modern Medicare’, ‘Modern Packaging & Design’, ‘Modern Pharmaceuticals’, ‘Modern Plastics & Polymers’, ‘Modern Textiles’, ‘Search’, ‘Better Interiors’, ‘Cricinfo Magazine’, ‘Overdrive Professional’, and ‘Modern Plastics’.

The tie up with Infomedia makes perfect sense as it gives naukri the reach across a different medium. In this arrangement, Naukri.com supplies content on relevant job opportunities available in their databases to Infomedia’s special interest magazines and Infomedia gets a branding on their site for the magazines. thus making it a win win situation. The partnership will provide job seekers in both countries instant access to a multitude of new job opportunities in virtually every industry. Studies show the online recruitment market in India is valued at US$33 million for 2006. With a 60 percent year-over-year growth rate, the online recruitment market is expected to reach US$53 million in 2007 and this move by careerbuilder is to make sure that the US jobs giant is ready to grab the market share though this tieup.
