Yahoo.co.in has launched a new interesting sms service which according to me is not only innovative but also useful. Sms backup lets you back up the messages that you want to save by forwarding them across to 82438243. by doing so one can save that message in one’s yahoo mail account forever. Now there will be 350 million cell phone subscribers by 2010 and most of them would still have phones with limited memories thereby making this new product by yahoo very interesting and if i may add probably profitable. i say this because i myself have many smses which just cannot delete which may have information regarding important documents, account numbers, people and even girlfriends ;). So I for one feel that this new service is a winner! Does anyone have any contradicting views?
