Well we just had an article about online gaming.. Now if online gaming is booming how can mobile gaming be far behind when it comes to launching new exciting games. So Nazara Technologies, a mobile content developer, has announced the launch of two new games based on the country’s heart-throb, cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The two games have been developed for Qualcomm’s BREW solution. The two games titled "Dhoni Tappebaaz" and "Dhoni Dhamaka" are catering to all dhoni lovers and im sure there are tons of them. Nazara also plans to release Mahendra Singh Dhoni wallpapers and screensavers.
In Dhoni Tappebaaz, the user will have to skillfully keep the ball off the ground by striking it with his bat. Dhoni Tappebaaz also will have a community-based feature that will enable users to compete with each other and participate in contests.
Dhoni Dhamaka has been designed keeping the dashing style of Dhoni in mind and hence in this game players will have to score the maximum number of runs, hitting as many sixes and fours as possible.
If you notice the names of these games they have the local flavour which points directly to the fact that these games might be more targetted to B and C class towns and cities and not only the metro’s. Also the fact that Dhoni himself is small town boy making a spash on the international arena makes this game a very good idea according to me. Even prior to this Nazara has launched many games which revolve around cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar’s Tap-O-Thon and Brett Lee Yorker Challenge.
