We all talk about the power of youth but i guess few of us have tried to get this power into a community. Well all in good time i say. A new website youthportal.in is looking to cater completely to the youth (now the site doesn’t mention what age to what age can you be considered a youth.. Its all in the mind i guess..lol) and aims at uniting the Indian youth by providing an e-platform for them to interact i.e. social networking for social and economic issues. The website will play the role of agony aunt and will address issues facing the youth and will also offer psychatric help (talk how youth being powerful!) to those in distress. The portal also plans to hold mock UN conference for the youth infact as their first project they will have a peace building process between India and Pakistan as its first project. It was launched during the two-day Youth Peace Summit organised by the Indian International Model United Nations (TIIMUN). they have already found sponsors in Barista - The coffee chain, Nitco Paints and Kotak Securities! So all the youth or even those who feel they comprise the youth here is a website especially for you!
