Well Indians seem to be enjoying the boom in Online Media like no other country. So here again one more company has got angel funded for a undisclosed amout so what if the company is based in the US after all its founded and run by an Indian and appropriately called WahIndia (www.WahIndia.com), an online media company founded in year 2003 with the aim of producing and distributing video content specifically developed for small screens such as PCs, laptops and mobile devices. They had entered the big game when they started distributing their broaband movie content to Sify’s broadband website www.sifymax.in. Currently WahIndia is providing bollywood related content but it will be launching the first social network focused on Bollywood and Indian entertainment by August end. The US based company further plans to establish an office in Mumbai during next quarter to accelerate user growth in India. Well lots of firms are getting angel funded.. The few i can name from the top of my mind are www.burrp.com a web 2.0 concept on lifestyle, www.sixer.in another web 2.0 concept for cricket lovers. It seems that web 2.0 is the key to getting funded Infact I myself am still searching for my angel still not found though and i was advised to think about adding interactivity i.e. in short web 2.0 concept to my site (by the ways i own jobs4freshers.com).
